【主讲人简介】

  Agi博士在国际上就污染监测,工业4.0和下一代物联网解决方案发表演讲。作为SensorComm Technologies的首席执行官,他确定了核心IP,协商许可协议,建立了全球知识产权组合,并开始引领世界上最敏感的氮氧化物(NOx)排放传感器商业化,用于运输和智能城市领域。他的团队开发了基于物联网的氮氧化物(NOx)监测系统(Wi-NOx?),这是SensorComm全球污染减缓战略的基石。 

  1998年,Agi博士创立了K&A Wireless公司,继续为执法,消防员和军队提供先进的技术解决方案。 K&A针对急救人员的无线技术路线图帮助挽救了数千人的生命。 Agi博士是华盛顿特区商务部传感器和仪器技术咨询委员会(SITAC)的成员,并且是美国国家科学基金会(NSF)小企业创新研究计划(SBIR)的首席研究员和定期审核员。他在阿尔伯克基新墨西哥大学的电气工程专业获得了博士学位。他获得了伯克利-哥伦比亚MBA学位。

 

Dr. Agi speaks internationally on pollution monitoring, industry 4.0 and next-generation IoT solutions. As CEO of SensorComm Technologies, he identified core IP, negotiated license agreements, established a global IP portfolio, and began leading commercialization of the world’s most sensitive NOx emission sensor for the transportation and smart city segments. His team has developed an IoT-based NOx monitoring system (Wi-NOx?) that is the cornerstone of SensorComm’s global pollution mitigation strategy.

 

In 1998, Dr. Agi founded K&A Wireless which continues to provide advanced technology solutions for law enforcement, firefighters and military. K&A’s wireless technology roadmap for first responders has helped save thousands of lives. Dr. Agi is a member of the Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee (SITAC) for the Department of Commerce in Washington, DC and has been a Principal Investigator and a regular reviewer in the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He received his MBA from the Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program.

  过去十年,中国在空气污染治理方面取得了重大进展。自2008年奥运会以来,政府通过部署各种战略为奥运会提供清洁空气 - 由此产生的问题是这些战略的延续性和可持续性。目前,中国正在推出新的政策,如中国国六标准和EV-100,这些政策对未来充满希望。但是,我们在全球的经验表明,仅靠政策还不足以推动可持续变革。我们了解到,有效的长期变革需要关注驾驶员行为,并提供直接问责的机制。

China has made significant progress regarding air pollution over the past decade. Since the 2008 Olympics, where the Government was able to provide Clean Air for the Olympics by deploying various strategies - the resulting problem has been the continuation and sustainability of those strategies. Currently, China is introducing new policies, such as China VI and EV-100, that show promise for the future. But, our experience globally shows that policy alone is just not enough to drive sustainable change. We have learned that effective, long-term change needs to focus on driver behavior and provide strategies for direct accountability.

 

SensorComm Technologies is a company that markets and provides an IoT‐based mobile pollution monitoring system (Wi‐NOx?) that provides real‐time measurement and monitoring of NOx emissions at the point of origin where pollution enters the environment. The system is installed at the tailpipe of vehicles in the transportation and smart city segments and operates independently of the vehicle. The key to the system is the ability to identify specific polluting vehicles.

This talk will discuss deployment of Wi-NOx? in China and resulting benefits that include revenue generation opportunities for cities, incentives for consumers. And ultimately, how Wi‐NOx? could represent the cornerstone of a pollution mitigation strategy throughout China one municipality at a time.
